Roxana Maurizio is associate researcher and professor at the University of Buenos Aires and at the Argentina’s National Scientific and Technical Research Council (CONICET). She also works as consultant for national and international organizations (ILO, ECLAC, World Bank, UNDP). Her areas of interest are labour economics, income distribution, poverty and social policies in Latin America. She has published articles (in journals such as Journal of Development and Change, International Review of Applied Economics, Journal of Income Distribution, Journal of Development Studies, Journal of Economic Inequality, International Social Security Review, International Labour Review) and books about labour informality, labour institutions, international migration, income mobility, inequality and poverty, and labour and social programmes. She holds an undergraduate degree in Economics, a Master degree in Economics and a PhD. in Economics.
