Julia Zulver and Kiran Stallone, LAC alum, have a new publication in the Journal of Peace Research.

The piece - “The Gendered Risks of Defending Rights in Armed Conflict: Evidence from Colombia” - documents the ways in which armed groups target men and women human rights defenders (in the Colombian case, "social leaders") with uniquely gender-specific threats. The article is Open Access.
