SIAS Vacancy: Grants and Projects Officer (maternity cover)

Grade 5: £23,352 to £27,854 per annum (with a discretionary range to £30,424)

We are looking to recruit a Grants and Projects Officer to cover a 12 month period of maternity leave commencing in January 2014. This key full-time post provides financial administrative support to academic staff applying for and working on research projects, and to administrators in the School. 

The School is focused on research and graduate teaching in academic disciplines which attempt to understand the complexity and the interrelatedness of society through anthropology, economics, politics, history, sociology and culture. You will assist academic and research staff in the preparation of funding applications, and in the implementation of awards, right through from costing to final reporting and reconciliation.  You will be joining a highly motivated team to contribute to the continued success of the School. The post is based at 12 Bevington Road just north of the Oxford city centre.
