The 'Rethinking Nationalism, Sectarianism and Ethno-religious Mobilisation in the Middle East' conference was held over 26-28 January 2018

The 'Rethinking Nationalism, Sectarianism and Ethno-religious Mobilisation in the Middle East' conference convened by Dr Alex Henley, Dr Ceren Lord, Dr Hiroko Miyokawa was held over 26-28 January 2018 at St Antony's College and Pembroke College. The conference was generously supported by Pembroke College, the Sasakawa Peace Foundation, the Middle East Centre at St Antony’s College, and The Oxford Research Centre in the Humanities (TORCH). There were 48 participants from eleven countries across the world (including from Japan, USA, and Europe) and 35 papers given, with a key note lecture from Dr Max Weiss (Princeton University).
