The Middle East Studies Programme in the School of Interdisciplinary Area Studies seeks applications from candidates in a social science discipline or modern history, with special reference to the Middle East, for a fixed term postdoctoral position, funded by the Sasakawa Peace Foundation for 24 months commencing 1 October 2016. The School is looking for the best possible candidate working within the study of the Middle East with particular reference to Turkey, Iran or Egypt.
