A Programme Coordinator is required for a new programme called The University Consortium, an international academic research and exchange programme between six universities in Russia, the EU and the US. St Antony’s College is the host organisation and Carnegie Corp is the funding body.

The Oxford University Student Union Teaching Awards shortlist for 2015 has been published this week and we are excited to see that Dr George Kunnath has been shortlisted in the Outstanding Supervisor category.
QS has released its annual subject ranking with Oxford University being ranked as number one for Area Studies and Geography. The rankings are based on academic reputation, employer reputation and research impact.
Congratulations to Dr Makovicky on receiving a John Fell Fund Award for her project ‘Ecologies of Citizenship: Reviving Pastoralism in the Polish Carpathians’.

It is with great sadness that I have to announce the death of Sir Raymond Carr, our much respected and admired second Warden (1968 – 1987), and an Honorary Fellow of this College.
CSASP students are currently gearing up for a visit to to the Institute of International Relations, University of Warsaw, from May 12th to 15th. This is the return portion of an exchange plan between the two departments which saw IIR students and staff visit Area Studies in March this year.
