The University of Brasília Press has just released a new book by LAC alumnus Danilo Limoeiro. Entitled Além das Transferências de Renda (Beyond Income Transfers), the monograph examines the reduction of inter-regional inequalities in Brazil during the 2000s.
Dr Rachel Murphy gave her presentation at the Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences Workshop on Sustainable Urban Development. The workshop was held on 25th-26th March 2015.
Warren Stanislaus, a researcher at the Rebuild Japan Initiative Foundation and a former MPhil in Modern Japanese Studies student, has recently had an article on the role of think tanks in Japan, published in the Spring 2015 issue of Global Asia.

The Latin American Centre is now seeking applications for the two CAF Scholarships for 2016-17. These scholarships are awarded to students from one of the CAF shareholder countries who take up a place to study on the MSc in Latin American Studies at the University of Oxford.
On Monday January 19th, CSASP welcomed our first four students from the Lahore School of Economics as part of the University's Recognised Student programme.
The students will be attending seminars and groups of interest across the Univeristy, whilst working on their PhDs.
A Memorial Service is being held on Saturday 28th February, at 11.00 am at Christ Church. All welcome to attend.
